Led by board-certified interventional pain management physician Christopher Galuardi, MD, who has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating disorders that cause various forms of joint pain, nerve pain, muscle pain and headaches.

Berlin Interventional Pain Management frequently treats conditions including neck pain, lower back pain, sciatica, occipital neuralgia and fibromyalgia. Dr. Galuardi utilizes various highly proven and effective techniques such as Facet/Nerve blocks, Epidural Steroid injections, Radiofrequency Nerve Ablations, and Trigger Point muscle injections to reduce inflammation related pain and help restore normal function. In order to ensure the most safe and effective outcome for the patient, many procedures are done with the aid of fluoroscopic x-ray guidance.

In addition to highly effective interventional therapy and medication treatments, this practice offers advanced solutions to persistent and severe pain such as spinal cord stimulation that disables the pain signals going from the nerves to the brain. Other available interventional procedures such as Kyphoplasty for vertebral body fractures, Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD) for spinal stenosis, and ViaDisc allograft for degenerative disc disease (DDD) can help repair or reverse more serious spinal issues all done as minimally invasive outpatient procedures that can take as little as 45 minutes. Regenerative medicine in the form of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections are also available.
